- As of 1/1/2022, we are in the SECOND application cycle.
- The dates for the second cycle have changed and are as follows:
- 2nd-cycle testing will occur during the weeks of March 21 and March 28, 2022 at Lowell Public Middle Schools, LCCPS, and Lowell High School.
- 2nd-cycle applications will be due on March 28, 2022.
- Decisions will be made on a rolling basis during the Second application cycle.
- The first meeting of the Admissions committee took place on February 17, 2022. It considered all complete applications at that time. Invitations have been sent to successful candidates from that group.
- IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A LETTER OF INVITATION it does not mean that you will not be invited. We are in the process of requesting more information from candidates and recommenders to complete our review process and will consider your application after the Winter Recess concludes, starting February 28.

The Application Process has changed slightly for the Class of 2026.
- Please look through the entire application packet before you begin it. This FAQ can also help.
- All work now will be included in the application form. You will need to submit you essay and answer questions within the form.
- There is a personal interview option. You will need to talk with a school helper (guidance counselor, director) about whether or not this is right for you.
- You now need two recommendations.
- You can have an optional third recommendation from an adult involved in your extracurricular activities.

FILLING OUT THE FORMS:
1. Download the form to your computer. DO NOT fill it out in your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.). You must fill it out using Adobe Acrobat on your computer. If you do not have Acrobat as a program, you can download it here. It is free.
2. After you fill out the form using Adobe Acrobat, save it.
3. Send the saved file as an attachment to the address listed in the instructions on the form: rdelossa@lowell.k12.ma.us.

How to submit the application -- prior to Dec. 1, 2021, the application form had incorrect instructions for turning it in. The correct instructions are on the current form:
1) Make sure that you save your copy of the application .pdf/file to your computer. You will then send the application to us as an attachment in an e-mail. You should e-mail the attachment to rdelossa@lowell.k12.ma.us.
2) Please name your application file (use "save as" to rename the file) using your name and "Lyceum Application." That means that the name of the file would look like this: "Samnang Hor Lyceum Application."
3) When you send the application, please put this into the subject line: "Lowell Latin Lyceum Application [YOUR NAME]." This helps us sort the application materials into your personal file.
4) Your teachers and (optional) extracurricular recommender should send their recommendations separately, to the same e-mail address: rdelossa@lowell.k12.ma.us.
5) If you do not get acknowledgment of the receipt of your application within two days, please send a followup e-mail to ensure that we got the application. If there are any questions about your application, we will contact you.
